Sergio Sevillano

Postdoc at IPPP, Durham University

Hi, I'm Sergio Sevillano, a Spanish theoretical physicist very interested in the Universe. This is my personal website, where you can find mostly everything about my academic career, latest publications and CV.

My main interests lie in scalar-field dynamics and their impact on the late-time Universe. As I like the expansion of the Universe, we explored the possibility of scalar fields producing the Hubble tension here. I'm also interested in extensions of gravity, focusing on the impact of these theories on the Standard Model dynamics in these papers. Moreover, scalar fields can also form compact objects that would behave as dark matter, we have studied this possibility here.

I hope you find what you're looking for!
